YMCA Reading provides a wide range of support services to meet each young person’s individual needs. Our supported accommodation service includes:
- Safe, secure, affordable accommodation
- Weekly key-work with a Case Practitioner
- A person centred approach, putting young people in control of their own support plan
- Support to help young people to access training, education, and employment
- Free access to the YMCA Reading activity programme, residents forums, youth engagement, and empowerment education
- Cooking and healthy eating sessions
- Budgeting and financial literacy sessions
- Access to our on-site IT suite and free access to Wi-Fi
- Move-on workshops and support to help young people to find suitable independent accommodation
